Artist Statement
Angryangry 梁家俊 is a Hong Kong-based pictorial map artist and mural artist whose hand-drawn works captures the soul, energy, and hidden narratives of cities. Blending meticulous observation with playful imagination, he transforms urban landscapes into vibrant, story-rich pictorial maps that blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy. From the bustling streets of Hong Kong and Tokyo to intimate neighbourhood tales, his illustrations weave together memory, culture, and everyday surreal moments using bold line work and layered details. Through solo and joint exhibitions, Hiragana Times cover series, and large-scale murals, Angryangry invites viewers to rediscover familiar places with fresh eyes and a sense of wonder.
